Job Description
Minimum 5 years working with special programs for calculating and projecting geospatial coordinates for 2D and 3D seismic data.
Desired Experience
Seismic Knowledge a benefit.
Software knowledge: Blue Marble, Navigation Doctor (product of Resolve Geosciences), Trango (Furgo Data Mgmt system), ArcMap / ArcSDE.
Degree preferred but not required.

The Navigator loads QC’s and loads seismic navigation data, and creates the line within Trango Manager software.
(QC = Quality Control and/or Quality Check)
— Receives request from Seismic Coordinator
— Reviews session contents for navigation source
— Sends Intl. Navigation for external QC
— QC’s Lower 48 Navigation in‐house
— Verifies and maps QC’d navigation
— Loads Navigation & Creates Lines in Trango
— Ensures State, County, Shot For, Shot By, Shot Year, Dimension, Prospect Name and Prospect ID are properly populated
— Creates Session Line List
— Creates ZIP file (“APC_VERIFIED_NAV.ZIP”)
— Catalogs ZIP file in TTi.Catalogger
— Passes session back to Seismic Coordinator
— Validates navigation is correct through ArcSDE
— Validates the Trango to SDE ETL runs and data displays properly in iMaps
