Our Story

AliTek Consulting is not like all of the other professional services companies because we have worked at those “other companies”.  From the beginning, our focus has centered on listening to our clients so we will understand their issues and deliver solutions that make a difference for their organization.  Building a company where the needs of the customer are always at the top of our priority list has created a culture in which we know that doing what is right for the client is the same as doing what is right for AliTek Consulting.  Passionate focus on our clients is what leads to company growth and success.

With the client focused foundation in place, AliTek Consulting developed a simple set of guiding principles.  The following is an excerpt from the first page of the employee handbook:

We also wanted to create a company that would act and feel more like a family than a corporation.  We decided to create this different environment by setting up a company that was truly different from the ground up.  The goal was to make AliTek Consulting such a good company that it would be the last place that the employees would ever want to work.

  • Employee Owners –From the first day, AliTek Consulting has been an employee owned company.  When all of the people in a company have a direct and tangible stake in how the company performs, there is minimal need for direction from the company leaders.  Owners make better employees and consultants.
  • Virtual Company – AliTek Consulting made a decision not to invest our money in a fancy office in order to impress other professional services companies but instead to invest in our people and give them flexibility instead of cubicles.
  • Focus on our Core Business – We made the decision to focus on a few key areas and become leaders in those spaces.  When we have a client that needs skills that we do not deliver, we will help the client find the right resource.
  • Client Solutions instead of Self-Promotion – Our growth in the first few years was exceptional because we delivered outstanding solutions to our clients.  Instead of spending our time trying to get our name on multiple lists of ‘fast growing’ companies, we stayed focused on our clients.  That helps explain why we still have positive references from 100% of our clients.
  • Faith Based Company – Faith and business can coexist.  AliTek believes that that they are inseparable.  We have and will continue to run our business, interact with our clients, and work as a team based on the guidance and direction from our faith.
