Keith is the founder and Managing Partner of Alitek. As a seasoned executive with over 30 years of Fortune 500 consulting experience, Keith has provided business process improvement consulting to multiple Fortune 100 companies including: Sysco Foods, BP, Shell, BHPBiliton, IBM and AIG. He has also served as CIO for a large national technology company. From his experiences serving as CIO and consultant, Keith brings a unique perspective to Alitek’s clients. Keith’s passion is to drive business value for our clients. Keith is a graduate of The Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania.
Mike is a founding member of Alitek and currently leads the Enterprise Information Management practice. He has over 20 years of experience in technology, ten of which have been in his role at Alitek. He has led a wide variety of transformation projects for Fortune 100 clients that were focused on information strategy, information governance and content management strategy. His diverse background provides a strong foundation for managing Alitek’s business development and vendor partnerships. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Kevin leads Alitek's PrepareRespond development and support teams. In addition, he provides PMO guidance for response exercises and PrepareRespond deployment to new customers. He has over 22 years of experience working in a variety of Fortune 500 IT departments and IT Consulting Companies. Throughout his career, he has worked with application development teams in a variety of roles related to architecture, development, testing, deployment and operational support. In addition to general application development experience, Kevin has also spent significant time on systems related to inventory control, warehouse distribution, content and records management, manufacturing control, data warehousing, and regulatory compliance. Kevin received his Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Science from Texas A&M University.
Mike leads Alitek’s Enterprise Information Management practice operations as well as their SAP Competency. Mike has been a technology solutions consultant for 20 years and has helped organizations in the energy, distribution, manufacturing, finance, medical, and retail industries develop and implement strategies to better manage their information. Mike’s unique background combines engineering, business training and Fortune 500 experience all of which he applies to clients across all industries increase efficiency, reduce risk and minimize costs through more efficient management of information. Mike has a passion for solving difficult business problems and has built his career working with businesses to identify and use technology to meet their needs. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas.
Peter leads Alitek’s Response Solutions practice. He has over 22 years of practical experience in information technology, cyber security, business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management in both government and the private sector. Peter works with Alitek’s clients to help develop programs that meet and exceed the myriad of regulatory requirements that challenge their IT, business continuity, security, records management and operating arms. Having developed a methodology that focuses on hardening the people and process side, his plans have been tested in both exercises and many real world crisis events. Peter earned his BA in Accounting and BS in MIS from the University of Houston. He has also been published in multiple magazines, newspapers and trade association magazines and has been a featured speaker and teacher.
Tod is Alitek’s Chief Technology Officer. He has over 30 years of Information Technology experience, primarily in professional services technology consulting. With decades of experience helping business users and IT develop and refine business processes and strategies that can be enabled through technology solutions, Tod has expertise in assessing client capabilities and developing strategies around Content Management, Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Search, and Business Process Management. Over the course of his career, he has managed, planned, designed, developed, and implemented business applications and services in a variety of industries using mobile, web, client/server and mainframe technologies. Tod earned his BBA from The University of Texas.
Capt. Chris Schaffer, USCGR (retired)
Chris leads Alitek’s Incident Command response services, business continuity, security and regulatory practice. He also serves as Alitek’s representative on the Area Maritime Security Council (New Orleans) and the Canadian Standards Association board for Emergency Management. He has over 30 years of practical experience in facility and Maritime security, security vulnerability assessments, regulatory compliance, crisis management and business continuity in both government and private sector companies. He has served in senior management and as a senior consultant in Fortune 500 companies as well as for the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, where he recently retired at the rank of Captain (0-6) in the Reserve. He has earned a variety of advanced degrees including: a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management from Florida State University, a Master’s Degree in Security Management from the University of Houston and is also a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College’s Command and Staff program. Captain Schaffer’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, two Coast Guard Commendation Medals with Operational Distinguishing Device, three Coast Guard Achievement Medals with Operational Distinguishing Device, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, the 9-11 Department of Transportation service ribbon and various other unit and service awards. He also is authorized to wear the permanent Advanced Boat Force Operations insignia.
